Snow bunting
The Snow Bunting (Plectrophenax nivalis) is found in the northern hemisphere and hedges in the circumpolar Arctic. There are a few isolated populations that nest on high mountain peaks south of the Arctic region, including the Cairngorm in central Scotland and Saint Elias Mountains on the southern boundary between Alaska and the Yukon. The entire world population is migratory birds, except the population of Iceland, and they move to northern temperate regions.
