Wood Grouse
The Wood Grouse (Tetrao urogallus), Heather Cock or Capercaillie is a very large and heavy fowl similar to the black grouse, but distinguished from it in larger size and the rounded tail. The bird is found in northern and central Europe and northern Asia.

European Quail
The Common Quail (Coturnix coturnix) occurs in most of Europe's and Asia's temperate parts and less common in Scandinavia. There are also breeding populations in the tropical parts of eastern and southern Africa and Madagascar. The Palearctic populations migrate in winter to subtropical and tropical areas, but also to a few places in southern Europe, Mediterranean, and southern Tibet. The population of tropical Africa are sedentary or move north in winter just like the population in South Africa that winters in an area around Angola.

Himalayan Monal
The Himalayan monal (Lophophorus impejanus) also known as the impeyan monal, impeyan pheasant. It is the national bird of Nepal, where it is known as danphe. The bird's natural range extends from eastern Afghanistan through the Himalayas in Pakistan, Kashmir region and the Republic of India.

Chukar Partridge
The chukar partridge or chukar (Alectoris chukar) is a Eurasian upland gamebird in the pheasant family.This partridge has its native range in Asia, including Israel, Lebanon, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India, along the inner ranges of the Western Himalayas to Nepal. The Chukar Partridge is the national bird of Pakistan.

Red Grouse
The Red Grouse ( Lagopus lagopus scotica) is different from the Willow Grouse and Ptarmigan in its plumage which is red brown and that it does not have a white winter plumage. The Red Grouse is endemic to the British Isles, it has evolved in isolation from other subspecies of the Willow Grouse, which is widespread in northern parts of Eurasia and North America. It is available in most parts of Scotland, including Orkney, Shetland and most of the Outer Hebrides. The Red Grouse is known as the logo for The Famous Grouse whiskey.

Pheasant
Pheasants (Phasianus colchicus), come from Asia where the original birds occurs from the area west of the Caspian Sea and east into Southeast Asia and coastal areas along the Sea of Japan. Pheasants have been introduced to large parts of the world where they run wild.
