Western Marsh Harrier

Marsh Harrier (Circus aeruginosus) nests in all of Europe, northwest Africa, northern parts of the Middle East and Central Asia. It nests in almost every country in Europe, but is absent in northern Scandinavia. Marsh Harrier is rare in the British Isles and currently doesn't breed in Ireland and Wales. In the Middle East you find populations in Turkey, Iraq and Iran and Central Asia extends the species' spread eastward as far as the north-western China, Mongolia and Lake Baikal region of Siberia.

Eastern Imperial Eagle

The eastern imperial eagle (Aquila heliaca) is a large bird of prey that breeds in southeastern Europe and extensively through West and Central Asia.


American Robin

The American Robin (Turdus migratorius) lives in all of North America, from Mexico to northern Alaska.

Eastern bluebird

The eastern bluebird (Sialia sialis) is a small thrush found in open woodlands, farmlands, and orchards. It is the state bird of Missouri and New York.



White Wagtail

The White Wagtail (Motacilla alba) breeds in  Europe and Asia and parts of north Africa. It is resident in the mildest parts of its range, but otherwise migrates to Africa.

Red-crested pochard 

The red-crested pochard (Netta rufina) breeding habitat is lowland marshes and lakes in southern Europe and Central Asia, wintering in the Indian Subcontinent and Africa. It is somewhat migratory, and northern birds winter further south into north Africa.

Bee-eater

Bee-eaters (Meropidae) are a group of birds containing three genera and twenty-seven species. Most species are found in Africa and Asia, with a few in southern Europe, Australia, and New Guinea.

White-tailed Eagle

White-tailed eagle (Haliaeetus albicilla) is the largest bird of prey in northern Europe and one of the largest in the world. Tailed eagle nest in Greenland, Iceland, northern Scotland, Scandinavia, the Baltics, Eastern Europe, the Balkans, Turkey, east through Russia and Siberia, in Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Mongolia, China, Japan and east to the Bering Strait.
