Long-billed Curlew

The long-billed curlew (Numenius americanus) is a large North American shorebird. This species was also called "sicklebird" and the "candlestick bird". The species is native to central and western North America. In the winter, the species migrates southwards, as well as towards the coastline.

The Crested Lark  ( Galerida cristata)  breeds across most of temperate Eurasia from Portugal to northeast China and eastern India, and in Africa south to Niger. 

American white pelican

The American white pelican (Pelecanus erythrorhynchos)breeds in interior North America, moving south and to the coasts, as far as Central America and South America, in winter.

Coot

The Coot's (Fulica atra) distribution extends over western North Africa, Europe and large parts of Central Asia to Japan and south to Australia and New Zealand.

Coot swims and dives well. It makes a small jump just before it dive and stays usually only for a short period under the surface.



The bird feeds both of plant parts, such as aquatic plants and algae, grass on land, and small animals such as insects and mussels.

Curlew

The Eurasian Curlew (Numenius arquata) breeds accross temperate Europe and Asia. The Curlew is migratory bird, wintering i Africa and south Europe and south Asia.
The bird's nest is a bare scrape on meadow.
The Curlew eats small invertebrates probed from soft mud.

Canary

The Atlantic Canary (Serinus canaria) is known worldwide simply as wild Canary. The domestic Canary is a jailbird who descended from wild Canary that inhabit the Atlantic archipelagos of the Canary Islands, Azores and Madeira Island. It feeds primarily of seeds and plant parts and during breeding also by insects.
For over 500 years, humans have domesticated this finch. It is mainly the song that has made ​​the canary so popular as pets.


Least Tern

The Least Tern (Sternula antillarum, formerly Sterna antillarum) is a species of tern that breeds in North America and locally in northern South America. It is migratory, wintering in Central America, the Caribbean and northern South America. Many spend their whole first year in their wintering area. It has occurred as a vagrant to Europe, with one record in Great Britain.



California Condor



The California Condor (Gymnogyps californianus) is a New World vulture, the largest North American land bird. This condor inhabits northern Arizona and southern Utah (including the Grand Canyon area and Zion National Park), coastal mountains of central and southern California, and northern Baja California. The condors live in rocky shrubland, coniferous forests, and oak savannas.Wild condors inhabit large territories, often traveling 250 km (160 mi) a day in search of carrion.
