Winter Wren

The Winter Wren (Troglodytes hiemalis) occurs throughout most of Europe, in a belt of Asia from northern Iran and Afghanistan to Japan, and North America. The northern breeding populations are migratory.

The Cretzschmar's bunting (Emberiza caesia) breeds in Greece, Turkey, Cyprus and the Levant. It is migratory, wintering in Sudan and northern Eritrea. It is a very rare wanderer to western Europe.
