The Greenshank (Tringa nebularia) is a palearktisk species with a breeding distribution that extends from northern Britain in the west to Kamchatka in the east. It's a long migrant bird and winters in the Mediterranean countries, sub-Saharan Africa, south-western parts of India, Indonesia, Southeast Asia, islands in the South China Sea and Australia.
