Northern Cardinal

The Northern Cardinal (Cardinalis cardinalis) is a North American bird and it is also known as the redbird or common cardinal. The bird can be found in southern Canada, through the eastern United States from Maine to Texas and south through Mexico.

Common Snipe (Gallinago colchicus) nest in the northern Palearctic from central Europe and north, in Iceland, UK, Faroe Islands, the Azores and in much of Russia and northern India. The northern poulations are migratory birds. Pale western Arctic breeding birds are wintering in areas around the Mediterranean, also in Northern Africa and the Atlantic coast while Asian breeding birds spend the winter in India, China, Southeast Asia and the Philippines. The birds that breed in Britain, Denmark, the Netherlands and parts of France are resident birds.

Common Whitethroat

Common Whitethroat
The Common Whitethroat (Sylvia communis) is a migratory bird that breeds widely in most of Europe except the Alps, Pyrenees, Southern Portugal and Spain's inland and in northern Scandinavia. The bird also breeds in the far north Africa in Algeria and Morocco, and the winters in tropical Africa.

Black-tailed godwit (Limosa limosa) is a migratory bird that breeds across much of Europe and Asia. The birds winters in the Mediterranean and the coasts of western Europe, in Africa, the Persian Gulf and the Caspian Sea, northern India, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

Storm Petrel (Hydrobates pelagicus) are pelagic, that is, it lives mostly out on the open sea. The largest population is in the Faroe Islands where more than half the world population nests, but the storm petrel also nests in the British Isles and the islands off Norway, Iceland, along France's north-west coast, north coast of Spain and the Canary Islands.

The Rock Dove (Columba livia), includes the domesticated domestic pigeon, and escaped populations of domestic pigeons that gave rise to the urban pigeon. The Rock Dove has its natural range along the coast of Scotland, locally in Ireland, the Faroe Islands, in western and southern Europe, North Africa, the Arabian Peninsula and South Asia, as far east as India.

Mountain Plover

The Mountain Plover (Charadrius montanus) is unlike most plovers, usually not found near bodies of water or even on wet soil; it prefers dry habitat with short grass and bare ground. It breeds in the high plains of North America from extreme southeastern Alberta and southwestern Saskatchewan to northern New Mexico and the Texas panhandle, as well as an isolated site in the Davis Mountains of West Texas. About 85 percent of the population winters in the San Joaquin and Imperial Valleys in California. Its winter range also extends along the U.S.-Mexican border, more extensively on the Mexican side.
