Northern Goshawk

Goshawks (Accipiter nisus) occur circumpolar over all the northern parts of the northern hemisphere, but its range extends as southerly to Morocco and Mexico.

Green Heron

The green heron (Butorides virescens) is a small heron of North and Central America. Green Herons are extremely rare vagrants to western Europe, individuals from the Pacific coast of North America may similarly stray as far as Hawaii.

Little Bunting

The Little Bunting (Emberiza pusilla) nests on the taiga in the north-eastern Europe and northern Asia, from northern Scandinavia and east in a relatively narrow belt around the Arctic Circle in Siberia to the Pacific. It is a migratory bird that winters in northern India, southern China and northern parts of Southeast Asia.

The Coal Tit (Periparus ater) is found in much of Europe and Asia.

The Cross bills (Loxia pytyopsittacus) reside almost exclusively in coniferous forests. They occur mainly in the Northern Hemisphere in Europe, Asia and North America.

Great Reed Warbler

The Great Reed Warbler (Acrocephalus arundinaceus) nests in large parts of Europe (excluding UK and Iceland), in Northwest Africa and Asia as far east as western China. It is a migratory bird that winters in tropical Africa.
