Grey Plover

The Grey Plover (Pluvialis squatarola) nest mainly on arctic tundra, from northern Russia to Alaska and Canada. It is a migratory bird. It is estimated that the number kustpipare moving through western Europe in the spring amounts to 247,000 individuals. The population that breeds east of the Taimyr in Siberia, winters from southern and eastern Africa, through Arabia, India, Southeast Asia to Australia. The North American population winters from the U.S. east and west coasts south to Argentina and Chile.
Plovers feeds on worms, crustaceans, snails, insects and their larvae.

Long-billed Curlew

The long-billed curlew (Numenius americanus) is a large North American shorebird. This species was also called "sicklebird" and the "candlestick bird". The species is native to central and western North America. In the winter, the species migrates southwards, as well as towards the coastline.

Curlew

The Eurasian Curlew (Numenius arquata) breeds accross temperate Europe and Asia. The Curlew is migratory bird, wintering i Africa and south Europe and south Asia.
The bird's nest is a bare scrape on meadow.
The Curlew eats small invertebrates probed from soft mud.

American Oystercatcher

American Oystercatcher painting

The American Oystercatcher (Haematopus palliatus), occasionally called the American Pied Oystercatcher is found on the Atlantic coast of North America from New England to northern Florida, where it is also found on the Gulf coast, and south to northern South America. It is found also in the Pacific coast of Mexico, Central America and northern South America.

Collared pratincole

The collared pratincole or common pratincole (Glareola pratincola) is found in the warmer parts of Europe, southwest Asia and Africa. It is migratory, wintering in tropical Africa.

The Red-necked Phalarope (Phalaropus lobatus) breed in the arctic regions of northern Europe, Asia and North America.

Bar-Tailed Godwit

The Bar-Tailed Godwit(Limosa lapponica) is a long migratory bird that nests in the tundra of northern Europe, Asia and western Alaska. The Bar-Tailed Godwit movses in flocks to the coasts of western Europe, Africa, South Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Sometimes birds from Europe and Asia occurs at North America's coasts during winter.

Purple Sandpiper

The Purple Sandpiper (Calidris maritima) breeds on the tundra in northwestern Europe, northern Siberia and its islands, including the Arctic islands in Canada and the coastal areas of Greenland and also in the Faroe Islands, Scotland and Svalbard.

Broad-billed Sandpiper

The Broad-billed Sandpipers (Limicola falcinellus) are nesting on the taiga of northern Scandinavia and Siberia. They are a typical migratory birds that winter in East Africa, South and Southeast Asia and Australasia.

Common Snipe

Common Snipe (Gallinago colchicus) nest in the northern Palearctic from central Europe and north, in Iceland, UK, Faroe Islands, the Azores and in much of Russia and northern India. The northern poulations are migratory birds. Pale western Arctic breeding birds are wintering in areas around the Mediterranean, also in Northern Africa and the Atlantic coast while Asian breeding birds spend the winter in India, China, Southeast Asia and the Philippines. The birds that breed in Britain, Denmark, the Netherlands and parts of France are resident birds.

Black-tailed Godwit

Black-tailed godwit (Limosa limosa) is a migratory bird that breeds across much of Europe and Asia. The birds winters in the Mediterranean and the coasts of western Europe, in Africa, the Persian Gulf and the Caspian Sea, northern India, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

Mountain Plover

The Mountain Plover (Charadrius montanus) is unlike most plovers, usually not found near bodies of water or even on wet soil; it prefers dry habitat with short grass and bare ground. It breeds in the high plains of North America from extreme southeastern Alberta and southwestern Saskatchewan to northern New Mexico and the Texas panhandle, as well as an isolated site in the Davis Mountains of West Texas. About 85 percent of the population winters in the San Joaquin and Imperial Valleys in California. Its winter range also extends along the U.S.-Mexican border, more extensively on the Mexican side.

The Golden plover (Pluvialis apricaria) is a migratory bird that breeds in northern Europe, western Asia, the Siberian tundra, and in northeastern Greenland. The bird winters in the UK, Ireland, locally in Western Europe from Denmark and south to Portugal and the Mediterranean, including North Africa.

The great egret (Ardea alba), also known as the common egret, large egret or (in the Old World) great white heron, is a large, widely distributed egret. Distributed across most of the tropical and warmer temperate regions of the world, in southern Europe it is rather localized. In North America it is more widely distributed, and it is ubiquitous across the Sun Belt of the United States and in the Neotropics
