Iceland Gull

The Iceland Gull(Larus glaucoides) nests in the arctic regions of Canada and Greenland. The northernmost populations are distinct migratory and are wintering in the North Atlantic as far south as the British Isles and northernmost states of eastern United States. Some birds spend the winter on the Great Lakes. Some populations that nest farther south, as in Greenland, only moves to the coast after breeding season.
