The Waxwing (Bombycilla garrulus) travels in large, nomadic groups. The bird breeds in the northern parts of Europe, Asia and western North America and is moving in unpredictable migration patterns from year to year.
The Waxwing usually builds its nest high in a pine tree.
The Waxwings diet is berries supplemented by insects.
