Red-backed Shrike
The Red-backed Shrike (Lanius collurio) is migratory. The bird breeds in much of Europe, north to Scotland, Sweden and southern Finland. In Southern Europe it is missing in most of the Iberian Peninsula. Outside Europe the bird nests in western Siberia, the Urals to the Altai Mountains and the Near East, where the southern and eastern Anatolia to the north-western and northern Iran. Red-backed Shrike winters in eastern and southern Africa.
Red-billed chough
The red-billed chough, Cornish chough or simply chough (Pyrrhocorax pyrrhocorax), is a bird in the crow family. Its eight subspecies breed on mountains and coastal cliffs from the western coasts of Ireland and Britain east through southern Europe and North Africa to Central Asia, India and China.
