The Nuthatch (Sitta europaea) occur over much of Europe and Asia. It also occurs in Morocco in northwest Africa.
The Nuthatch climbs well up, down and sideways. It feeds on insects that it finds in tree bark crevices.
The bird builds its nest in holes, usually in trees. It likes to use old woodpecker nests.
