The Goldcrest (Regulus regulusis Europe's smallest bird. Goldcrests populates a large geographical area covering most of Eurasia. The northern and eastern breeding populations of Goldcrests are migratory, and winters farther south.

Goldcrest nests in conifers, in forests or parks, and builds a compact nest placed on a branch.

It eats insects, spiders and berries.
